Adina Genn is an award-winning journalist recognized with several press club awards for her news and feature work. She is the co-author of “So, You Want to Franchise Your Business” (Entrepreneur Press, August 2008), “Everything I Know About Business I Learned at McDonald's: The 7 Leadership Principles that Drive Break Out Success” (McGraw-Hill, November, 2008), and the author of “The Everything Fundraising Book” (Adams Media, January, 2009).
In April 2007, she was named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Journalist of the Year. She has worked in publishing as an editor for McGraw-Hill Companies, where she developed and acquired vocational educational books. A member of the Society of Professional Journalists, she spent seven years covering small business for the regional weekly Long Island Business News; her work included interviews, business advice, company profiles, and the latest workplace trends.
She writes and edits special publications on business management; some of her articles have appeared in The New York Times, Entrepreneur.com, FOXBusiness.com, Newsday’s Long Island Weddings, Specialty Retail Report, canvas, Long Island Magazine and Long Island Press. She collaborates with leaders of businesses and non-profit organizations to help them present their ideas on paper. Adina has co-published several books.
