Allie Herzog
New Media Director

Allie Herzog is a New Media Director at HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC in the newly formed New Media Division of the PR department.  In addition to writing press materials, photocaptions, pitch letters, feature stories and bylined articles, Allie focuses her efforts on getting clients exposure in Blogs, social networking sites, online media and more!   Her more recent placements have been in Newsday, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, News 12 Long Island, Long Island Business News and many more. 

Allie comes to the firm with a wide range of writing experience, having been a journalist for the Newport Mercury in Newport, Rhode Island. At the newspaper, she covered the arts, entertainment and the community. She also covered in-depth feature stories for the paper. Before that, she worked at Fairfield Resorts as a marketing coordinator and at the Newport Yachting Center conducting special events. Prior to that, she worked for Scholastic Magazines as a writer.

Allie has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island.
