Kristie's Story
Kristie Galvani, Senior Vice President of HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, has been with the firm since 2001. She handles new business development and firm growth. She also helps to oversee the firm’s four divisions and works closely with the senior staff.
Kristie comes to HJMT with experience in public relations, having worked at WCBS-TV in station services. She was responsible for public affairs and community affairs. In addition, she worked at WVYC radio as the underwriting director and traffic director. She was also an on-air personality. Further, she worked at Lindenhurst Eye Physicians as a patient representative. There, she developed a marketing plan for Lasik eye vision correction surgery for the office. A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, Public Relations and Advertising, Kristie graduated Cum Laude.
Kristie also finds time to give back to the community. She has sat on committees for a variety of not-for-profits including: American Lung Association, Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island, Long Island Women’s Agenda, Girl Scouts of Nassau County, Habitat for Humanity, Long Island Technology Hall of Fame, and the American Heart Association. In 2006 she was named a 40 under 40 by Long Island Business News and in 2009 Kristie was given the York College of Pennsylvania Distinguished Recent Graduate Award.
