 2nd Annual Casino Night
On May 20th at the Fox Hollow Country Club, the American Lung Association held its2nd Annual Casino Night 2nd Annual Casino Night, The Breathe Easy Speakeasy, which was planned by HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC.
The event was a big success and all proceeds benefited asthma research. The exciting evening of networking and gaming took place in an authentic 1920´s speakeasy setting, live flappers included!
HJMT Raises Nearly $150,000 for the American Lung Association
On Saturday, October 2nd, the American Lung Association held its "Blow the Whistle on Asthma" 5K Walk at Belmont Lake State Park. HJMT coordinated the entire event, including fund raising, logistics, publicity and team building. More than 700 people participated in the walk, doubling last year's attendance. Nearly $150,000 was raised to increase awareness and conduct research for asthma.
LICA retains HJMT
The Long Island Capital Alliance recently announced that HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC will be the group's PR firm of record. HJMT will be responsible for planning all future breakfast meetings, the Annual Herman Fialkov Awards Luncheon and the annual LI/NY Metro Capital Forum.
HJMT Expands with New Hire
Angela C. Ruggiero of Wantagh was recently appointed Assistant Account Executive at HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC. At the firm, Ms. Ruggiero will be responsible for working with national and local media, writing press materials, booking speaking engagements, and coordinating special events and seminars.
Winging It to Buffalo
HJMT recently took a trip to Buffalo, New York to present at the 85th Annual Convention and Education Trade Show, hosted by the New York State School Boards Association. At the Convention, HJMT networked with superintendents from school districts across New York State and displayed the successes the firm has had to date representing school districts and non-profit organizations as well as private and public companies. The convention took place on October 21 - 24 at the Buffalo Convention Center.
Koppe Promoted
Kristie L. Koppe was recently promoted to VP, Client Services at HJMT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC. In this new capacity, Ms. Koppe supervises staff and oversees all graphic design projects, special events and publicity efforts. She is also the client liaison and assists in obtaining new business for the growing firm.
